See for more information. I also used another non-apple client from that Mac, which was flaky in different ways. I once used "chicken of the vnc", which was flaky on whatever OS X release I had 2 years ago. My memory is that Apple had a built in client with a non-obvious name, perhaps "screen", which they "fixed" a few releases ago to only work if the VNC server was itself from Apple, running on a Mac. I really don't want to have to access them from a virtual windows machine running on the MAC :-(Ī web search for "mac vnc client" produces zero useful hits. I have a number of FreeBSD servers, and I'd like to put VNC server software on them, then access them from a Mac running OS X 10.9.5. Originally, Excel for Mac was based on the 1904 date system, because it enabled better compatibility with early Macintosh computers that did not support dates before January 2, 1904, and therefore it became the default date system. Originally, Excel for Windows was based on the 1900 date system, because it enabled better compatibility with other spreadsheet programs that were designed to run under MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows, and therefore it became the default date system. The default date system for Excel for Windows is 1900 and the default date system for Excel for Mac is 1904. Both Excel for Mac and Excel for Windows support the 19 date systems.

No additional software is needed to access a Mac-formatted disk that is GPT partitioned. Fixed disks can include internal hard drives, but can also include portable devices such as external hard drives which connect via USB, FireWire, etc. MacDrive fully supports GPT partitioning for fixed disks. When formatting Mac-formatted disks, such as HFS+ or HFS+J, in Disk Utility, current versions of the Mac OS typically use GPT as the default partition type. It is known that in the 90 Apple’s MAC machine dominate the music studios. Let’s get back to our main subject… MAC or PC? Any modern DAW is good as long as you manage to master it, it is like a wild horse that needs to be tamed. It is very similar when people ask me: What is the best music production software / DAW for music production? The best music production software is the one you learn and know best. “MAC or PC? Which is the best for Music Production?” My answer is always: “Buy a good system” for both Apple and a (good) PC, as long as it works for you!” Many questions from music producers are whether they just have to take an Apple Mac computer or a Windows PC. The heart of most home studios is the computer, the sacred place where we keep all our music programs, samples, and plug-ins. |
